At its first meeting, The Parent Association awarded each grade with $1,000 for supplies and each specialty teacher with $500 for supplies. The money came from the fundraising events last year like the Fund Run, Escrip and Fresh And Easy Night. Thank you to everyone for their efforts.
This year, we want to raise even more money for our teachers and students.
The easiest way is to sign up for Escrip at www.escrip.com. Register your Vons card and credit cards. It is safe and secure. Did you know you have to re-register your Vons card each year? This is FREE money for our school. If you need help, email Andrea at andsal@cox.net
Plus start saving those Fresh And Easy receipts! They give the school $$ for every receipt. There will be a box at the front desk soon.
We are asking for donations of sodas and waters for Back To School night. Drop off your donation to Lisa at the front desk. The Parent Association will be selling street style tacos, churros and drinks starting at 4:30pm at Back To School Night on Sept. 15th so come hungry.
The next Parent Association meeting is on Thursday October 6th at 8:45am. Everyone is welcome. We hope to see you!
